Damian was a guest speaker for Huron’s Disability Advocates employee resource group to help advance our company-wide value of inclusion through education and awareness of unconscious bias that involves Ableism. When he spoke, he was authentic and leveraged passion, professionalism, and a charismatic presence to deliver a powerful and engaging event. Damian’s use of storytelling to share first-hand experiences, created a safe space for attendees to voice ideas, talk about disability stereotypes, and actively engage with his material.
